The first annual Windgate Ranch Festival of Speed took place on March 28th, 2009, my 24th birthday. I not only attended it, but I shot promotional photos for it and even built a website to promote it for Scuderia Southwest, the organizers of the event. darmowe gry hazardowe jackpot The event...
Cars and Coffee, March 2016
posted by Patrick Ernzen
For the first time in nearly a year and a half, I finally made it to the Scottsdale Cars and Coffee. It’s an event I was at at the very beginning and never missed for over three years. برنامج مراهنات But as life got busy and nights got late, it became increasingly difficult to force myself out of bed before sunrise and make the 30 minute drive to Scottsdale. But, I finally made that trip again and I’m very glad I did. Not only did I see a lot of familiar faces, but also a lot of wonderful cars. العب كازينو When I first started going almost nine years ago, it was a small group of about 20 cars and virtually no “spectators”. I was just a handful of people taking...

More Lamborghinis at Cars and Coffee

While I didn’t set out with any sort of plan, I once again ended up focusing on the Lamborghinis at this month’s Cars and Coffee, just like last month. بطولات كريستيانو مع المنتخب This time, instead of being the ultra rare and polarizing Lamborghini Gallardo 5-95 Zagato that drew my attention, it was four late model Lamborghinis, including a duo of rarities built to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Lamborghini Gallardo 5-95 Zagato at CnC
posted by Patrick Ernzen
It’s a given that if you show up to the monthly Scottsdale Cars and Coffee, you’re going to see some good stuff and probably a lot of it. Even on the rare days when the event is greeted by a rainy morning, there are people out there. I also generally expect something unexpected. Might be a supercar, a wild custom, an ultra-rare vintage Italian or just something I’ve never even heard of. Still, when it came to seeing the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo 5-95 Zagato, just one of two built so far, at this weekend’s gathering, I was surprised. I was running a little late and just managed to get some shots fired off before it scurried away, but it would be an understatement to say it caught my...

Late last week Scottsdale Ferrari hosted the FCA – Desert Region and various other guests to check out the first Ferrari 458 Speciale to land in the valley. Fortunately, I also got the invite. Unfortunately, I also got there very late after the sun set. On top of that, to make a long...
Supercar Run 5

It looked like a ridiculous house party. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, Aston Martins and others overflowing into the streets and lined up bumper-to-bumper on both sides of the road. I wasn’t sure if I had the right address, as I’d just looked it up on Google and Facebook, but when I arrived at Supercars Specialists and Scottsdale, it was immediately clear I was in the right place. Years and years ago, back when the Scottsdale Exotic Car Club was still a thing and the Scottsdale Cars and Coffee was just getting started, I used to go along on exotic car drives about once a month, always taking hundreds of photos along the way. But, as the SECC dissolved and the crowds increased, the number of...
2014 Copperstate 1000 Send-Off

I’ve said it here before time and time again, so I won’t prattle on repetitively too long. Bottom line: The Copperstate 1000 is one of the best vintage car events in the Valley. امريكا اكسبرس It’s one thing to see such an impressive range of vintage cars, including some of the best-of-the-best, at a car show and something else to see them actually being driven. And not just driven, but DRIVEN. For this reason, I always shoot in the field for a bit before camping out roadside to catch all of these amazing machines beginning their long journey. Personal favorites this year included the always impressive 1965 Lamborghini 3500 GT Zagato (my third or fourth time seeing it in...

What’s not to love? With cars like that being the norm (while actually being driven to and from the event), it’s easy to see why the annual Windgate Ranch Festival of Speed is one of a handful of Phoenix Valley shows not to be missed. Other highlights for me included a super-rare Devin painted in a brilliant gold (look for a possible photo shoot of this car on...
Arizona Concours d’Elegance
posted by Patrick Ernzen
When I was approached by one of the founders and organizers of the first ever Arizona Concours d’Elegance many months ago I was immediately all in. I was all in not only because Arizona has been sorely lacking an event of this caliber, but because of who it was who approached me. I knew right from the start that it was going to be a very solid event put on by true enthusiasts and that it would garner all the attention it deserved from all the people you want attentive. There are so, so many cars hidden away in the Phoenix valley and surrounding areas that unless you’re a very regular attendee to various events or lucky to know the right people, you really have no idea of just what’s out...
RM Auctions Scottsdale 2014
posted by Patrick Ernzen
For the first time in five years, I was finally able to attend RM’s annual Scottsdale auction. It is an auction that is, without question, one of the very best in the entire world and for me it was even more special as quite a number of cars I’d shot in the past year were going across the auction block. The crown jewel of the auction was this 1958 Ferrari 250 GT California LWB Spyder, which sold for a record-setting $8,800,000 and one of the many cars I had the pleasure of shooting prior to the auction (that gigantic print in the background came from said shoot). Not only was the California Spider the top sale for RM, but it was the top sale for all of the 2014 Scottsdale auctions. A bit further...
