RM Auctions Scottsdale 2014
For the first time in five years, I was finally able to attend RM’s annual Scottsdale auction. It is an auction that is, without question, one of the very best in the entire world and for me it was even more special as quite a number of cars I’d shot in the past year were going across the auction block. The crown jewel of the auction was this 1958 Ferrari 250 GT California LWB Spyder, which sold for a record-setting $8,800,000 and one of the many cars I had the pleasure of shooting prior to the auction (that gigantic print in the background came from said shoot).
Not only was the California Spider the top sale for RM, but it was the top sale for all of the 2014 Scottsdale auctions. A bit further down the list, coming in at 2nd for RM and 9th overall is this remarkable 1961 Porsche 718 RS 61 Spyder. Not only did I get to spend an entire day shooting this car, but I was lucky enough to shoot it running around the curves at Willow Springs. One of only fourteen produced, this beautifully restored example had no problem making laps in a hurry. بوكر اون لاين حقيقي
While not a car I shot, as a fan of Toyota (my very first car was a 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo and I later owned a 1987 MR2) and interesting cars in general, this 1986 Toyota Celica IMSA GTO piqued my interest early and blew away expectations by reaching a price of $220,000.
Having not attended the RM auction for so long, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. العاب لربح المال الحقيقي Having been to it an the other auctions in the valley, I can say with confidence that it’s one you don’t want to miss. لعبة المافيا بالورق The quality of cars is only rivaled by maybe one other auction house and none of the others come close in terms of presentation. Their auction block was like nothing I’d ever seen before and having all the information and images at your fingertips with the help of an iPad just put it over the top for me. I can’t wait to attend again in the years to follow.
