While a large number of rare and beautiful cars made their way out to to the October’s Scuderia Southwest Cars and Coffee, a stunning blue ’62 Ferrari 250 GTO (serial number 3387) was without a doubt the star of the show. It’s the second GTO produced and was raced at Sebring in March of ’62 where it placed second over all and first in GT with Phil Hill and Oliver Gendebien behind the wheel. It later raced at Le Mans in June of ’62 and then went on to race in NART and by a privateer after that and is one of very few GTOs raced as a factory team car.
