The Ferrari 512TR is greatly reworked and improved compared to the earlier Testarossa to the point in which it is almost an entirely new car. With the 512TR the engine's output has been increased to 423hp (~ 37-47hp more than the earlier Testarossa) through higher compression pistons, Nikasil cylinder liners, larger intake valves, a revised intake system, Bosch engine management and a revised exhaust system. This particular 512TR's output has been further increased with a Capristo Level 3 exhaust. The 512TR's handling has been greatly improved when compared to the Testarossa by repositioning the engine and gearbox along with lower profile tires, revised shocks and quicker steering. In addition to handling, the braking has also been improved with larger cross-drilled rotors. Other changes include numerous exterior and interior modifications which improve both the appearance and functionality of the car.

While already very rare on it's own (only 1,510 were produced with only 225 coming to the US, this is #39), this particular example is truly one of a kind. Produced for the 1994 Atlanta Auto Show, it's only one of four US cars produced in Aqua Metallic and the only one to ever have a cloth interior. Two of the other three in Aqua Metallic were used for the 1994 Detrit and Los Angeles Auto Shows. This particular car was also BMW's US press car, which they sent to various US publications for reviews and articles. While never officially an "M" car, the 850CSi features a revised engine which makes 390hp (100 more than the much more common 850i) and carries the S series engine code (S70B56), something normally only associated with "M" cars. It also has "M" badges throughout both the interior and engine bay and has various other improvements over the lower models, both mechanical and cosmetic.

With a number of mechanical and cosmetic modifications including a reprogrammed ECU, larger intercooler pumps, air filters, lowered, supercharger pulley and custom iForged wheels, this isn't your ordinary SLR. Putting down 572hp and 574ft lbs of torque to the rear wheels, it still managed a 11.0s 1/4mi at 129mph despite serious wheelspin down the entire track.

Only 327 Jaramas were sold worldwide, with only 150 being the GTS model, and considering there are supposedly less than 30 of those 327 Jaramas are in the US, suffice to say a Jarama is a rare sight. This particular example is a two owner car with just under 6,000 miles on the odometer and is finished in Arancio exterior with Nero leather interior, making it all the more special. Options include power steering and factory AM/FM, cassette (which was pretty cutting edge in '73) stereo mounted in the headliner area between the sun visors.
