<\/p>\nOf the about six and a half years of photo galleries I’ve shot and posted on my site, there’s been maybe three or four that were taken in the west side of the Phoenix Valley. For the majority of the time that I’ve lived in Arizona, I’d lived in North Scottsdale and didn’t venture past the I-17 very often for auto events or much else. However, I felt it was about time I got out and showed a little love to one of the many automotive events that take place in the west valley.<\/p>\n

This Saturday morning, the first Saturday of the month, I missed out on one of my very favorite regular events, Scottsdale Cars and Coffee. I had my gear packed up and was heading out the door when something came up and I had to make a quick change of plans. Having missed out on C&C, I had a real desire to get out and shoot something, so I looked up what was going on that night and read about the weekly Glendale Saturday Cruise In, something I’d driven past coincidentally several times before but had never stopped at.<\/p>\n

The turnout was great and, like most automotive things that go on on this side of the valley, just a little weird. But that’s not a bad thing. I always like seeing things that are a little odd and things you aren’t likely to see anywhere else. Overall I really enjoyed checking the event out, snapping photos and talking to a few folks and definitely plan on making a stop over there more regularly.<\/p>\n
